Social Security Tribunal of Canada

A new way to communicate with Canadians

Launching our Twitter presence marks an exciting new chapter for the Tribunal. We are always aiming to improve access to justice, and Twitter is a valuable tool we can use to help us achieve that goal.

Up to now I have been tweeting about SST and A2J issues, as well as posting on LinkedIn using my personal accounts. I will continue to do that, but we now have official Twitter accounts for the SST as well.

Communicating with Canadians on social media will allow us to:

  • Enhance the accessibility of our processes
  • Extend the reach of our external communications
  • Further support opportunities for stakeholder engagement
  • Inform interested parties how they can access the Tribunal’s services
  • Educate the public about the Tribunal and our mandate
  • Continue to find new ways to promote access to justice

I invite you to follow us on Twitter and join in the conversation. You can find our accounts in English at @SSTribunal_EN, and in French at @TribunalSS_FR.
