Proposed EI Board of Appeal Regulations

The Social Security Tribunal (SST) recently shared proposed changes to our Rules of Procedure. One of the reasons we’re amending our Rules is because the Employment Insurance (EI) Board of Appeal will replace the SST’s General Division Employment Insurance section.

The EI Board of Appeal is separate from the SST. If you’d like to see how first level appeals will work once they’re at the EI Board of Appeal, their proposed regulations are available for comment until January 13, 2025.

For the proposed changes to our Rules, you can submit your comments to us by email before January 9, 2025.
