Social Security Tribunal of Canada

What decisions the Social Security Tribunal publishes

We publish many, but not all, decisions online. This helps us be accountable and transparent. To see how many decisions we publish on our website, see our statistics on published decisions.

Appeal Division

At the Appeal Division, we publish all final decisions except decisions based on a written agreement. This includes:

  • decisions where the Appeal Division granted leave to appeal and then decided the case
  • decisions where the Appeal Division denied leave to appeal

Decisions reviewed by courts

If the Federal Court or Federal Court of Appeal reviews an SST decision, then we publish both the Appeal Division decision and the General Division decision that’s related to it.
