Income Security Appeals Consultative Committee

On June 30, our Income Security Appeals Consultative Committee met for the second time. Like the previous meeting in January, this virtual event brought together approximately 18 external stakeholders in the field of income security appeals.

We met to consult with the income security appeals community on a new Code of Conduct for Tribunal members and a process for making complaints, two elements that form part of our commitment to fairness, transparency, and accessibility.

We’re also working on a similar committee for Employment Insurance appeal stakeholders.

These roundtables are one way of many ways that we build stronger relationships with our stakeholders and connect with new stakeholders. We look forward to growing these relationships.
