Social Security Tribunal of Canada

Keeping your appeal moving: COVID-19 measures

To keep everyone safe, we hold our hearings by phone and videoconference. We’ve continued to issue decisions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

We encourage you to contact us by email.

If you phone us, please leave a message! We’ll call you back within 15 minutes during regular business hours. We can’t answer the phone live because we’re working at a distance due to COVID-19.

We’re processing mail, but only weekly. Sending us documents by regular mail may cause delays. The fastest way to send us information is always by email.

You can still contact us by fax at 1-855-814-4117 (toll-free in Canada and the United States) or 1-613-941-5121 (long distance charges may apply).

For the most up-to-date information on COVID-19, visit and follow Canada's Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Theresa Tam, on Twitter. You can also contact the coronavirus information line at 1-833-784-4397.
